Joined Jun 20, Messages I doubt that they intended to have z-cancelling take out ALL of the lag time for links dair, but when they realized that it was an advanced tech that people could use without making the game broken, they made it more even for all characters in melee meaning that it cuts the lag time in half for nearly all characters and all aerials.
So, with that said, I would imagine that they will implement wave dashing in Brawl, but it might be a little more even between characters, instead of having luigi who can wavedash every where, and peach who wave dashes no where.
