Why is ako always down

Don't even get me started -. AKO, like most Army computer-related systems, is absolute garbage. The Army is full of different "systems" that don't talk to each other, and are just a jumbled mess of crap. AKO always brags about how many searches are done each day and month. Have you ever tried to use the search function? It sucks!!! It's horrible, you can't find anything. It's easier to Google something than to use AKO. It's a sensitive subject for me, I can't stand the utter ineptitude of DoD information systems in general.

Sir, The system is not horrible, it is the administrators. If they allowed soldiers to access the system without CAC Card or having to create a 30 character password everytime they tried log into the system. I disagree on the migration to enterprise. I haven't been able to get that to work on any computer that wasn't hooked up to a govt network. Even on my crap laptop that I downgraded IE and everything else on so I could run courseware it won't let me in.
